Benchmark Lending will host a community food drive to benefit the Flemington Area Food Pantry throughout the month of February.
They aim to collect ingredients for cooking and baking as well as condiments. Suggested donations include: baking ingredients (sugar, flour, cooking oil, baking mixes, vanilla and honey), spices (dried oregano, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, parsley, cinnamon and nutmeg) and condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo and BBQ sauce).
“Spices and cooking ingredients are very much appreciated by our team of volunteers and our clients. Last year we began offering ComMITT Kits to help more families cook together, eat together and make healthy recipes over and over. We provide all the ingredients needed for a delicious and healthy meal, and our clients tell us they love the kits and the recipes,” said Jeannine Gorman, executive director of the Flemington Area Food Pantry.
Benchmark Lending is a “Club Partner” of Flemington Pickleball Club, and the sponsor of the Feb. 12 “Fall in Love With Pickleball” tournament. They’re encouraging tournament competitors and members to bring donations to the club. Donations can also be dropped at the Benchmark Lending office.
