Bedminster honors longtime public works employee

At their Sept. 9 public meeting, Bedminster Township supervisors honored longtime public works employee Jamie Heacock for his 31 years of service.
Later in the meeting, Police Chief Matt Phelan introduced new Police Officer Dan Chonko.
A U.S. Army veteran, Chonko served for five years as a police officer for another municipality, where he received numerous commendations, including recognition for DUI enforcement and his work on an armed robbery investigation.
An Upper Bucks native, he is a graduate of Palisades High School, and earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Penn State University and American Military University.)
