The Baum School of Art Adult Student Exhibition will be held in The David E. Rodale and Rodale Family Galleries Feb. 14 through March 14.
An awards reception will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Third Thursday, Feb. 21, with awards presented at 7 p.m.
The exhibition showcases the work of all of Baum School’s adult students, including those pursuing a degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College. All mediums will be on display, including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture, pastel, jewelry and more.
Cash awards will be presented at the reception in both two- and three-dimensional categories to eight students, selected by presenting sponsors Jane Landis and Andrew Bausch.
Approximately 70 creative student artists participate; some have been attending classes for 20 years or more, and it may be the first time taking an art class for others.
All exhibitions and receptions at The Baum School of Art, 510 Linden St., Allentown, are free and open to the public, and complimentary wine, beverages and light fare will be served.
