The Baum School of Art in Allentown awarded the first Nancy Kaiser Memorial Scholarship to longtime Baum student Evan Mori.
The late Nancy Kaiser made her mark in so many ways in the community. She enjoyed golfing, figure skating, horseback riding and excelled at cylcing, becoming heavily involved at the Lehigh County Veladrome, now Valley Preferred Cycling Center.
Aside from her love for sports, she was an artist and calligrapher who shared her designs through her freelance work. She created invitations for every occasion, never one the same.
To continue on the celebration of her life, Larry Miley and Judy Kaminski organized and kickstarted a scholarship fund in her name at The Baum School of Art. In just two short months, The Nancy Kaiser Memorial Scholarship Fund is up to over $17,000.
Evan has been taking classes at The Baum School of Art since he was 4 years old. He is interested in a multitide of different artforms and media, but seems to be drawn to graphic design and typography. This was one, among many, reasons why Evan was chosen to be the first recipient of this scholarship.
