Holy special event, Batman! The historic Newtown Theatre will screen 1966s “Batman: The Movie” in all its campy glory on Friday, Oct. 7.
Prior to the movie, a replica Batmobile will be parked in front of the theater. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the movie will start at 8 p.m. In the hour leading up to the movie, guests can check out a full-size Batmobile. They will be offered one complimentary drink, free popcorn, a series of riddles, a photo booth, Batman decorations, special contests, and prizes.
Tickets are available at TheNewtownTheatre.com, and at the door, if available. All seating is general admission. The theater is located at 120 N. State St. in Newtown Borough.
