Barrier installation scheduled on I-95, I-76 ramp in Philadelphia and Bucks County

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that temporary barrier installation will occur next week on sections of Interstate 95 and an Interstate 76 ramp in Philadelphia and Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

Monday, Jan. 30, through Monday, Feb. 13, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a right lane closure will be in place weeknights on northbound and southbound I-95 between the Academy Road/Linden Avenue (Exit 32) and Cottman Avenue (Exit 30) interchanges in Philadelphia;

Tuesday, Jan. 31, through Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a left lane closure will be in place weeknights on southbound I-95 between the Woodhaven Road (Route 63) Interchange and the Philadelphia County line in Bensalem Township;

Wednesday, Feb. 1, through Wednesday, Feb. 15, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a left or right lane closure will be in place weeknights on southbound I-95 between the Street Road (Route 132) and Woodhaven Road (Route 63) interchanges in Bensalem Township;

Thursday, Feb. 2, through Thursday, Feb. 16, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning, a left lane closure will be in place weeknights on the 34th Street ramp to eastbound Interstate 76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
