Barnes Foundation announces extended holiday hours

The Barnes Foundation has announced special extended hours between the Thanksgiving and New Year’s holidays—opening as early as 9 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m. on select days.
Normally open Thursday through Monday, the Barnes, located at 2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, will also be open on Tuesday, Dec. 28, and Wednesday, Dec. 29, to welcome more visitors during the week between the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

Additionally, the Barnes Shop is offering a 20% discount on Sunday, Nov. 28, the fifth annual Museum Store Sunday. The Garden Restaurant and Reflections Café will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on open days. The Barnes will be closed on Christmas Eve (Friday, Dec. 24), Christmas Day (Saturday, Dec. 25), and New Year’s Day (Saturday, Jan. 1).
Masks are required for all. Details on the museum’s safety protocols are available on its website. Guests are encouraged to book ahead for tickets to help keep transactions contactless. Tickets can be ordered online or by phone at 215-278-7200.
