Barbara Lane Molesworth

Barbara Lane Molesworth, age 76, of Doylestown, passed away March 10, 2022 at Pine Run Retirement Community.
Born in Doylestown, Barbara attended Doylestown Elementary Grade School, Central Bucks West High School and was a hairdresser and part owner of Cross Keys beauty salon for many years. Barbara was very active in her community through membership, volunteering and leadership positions with the Village Improvement Association, Pine Run Retirement Community, Bux-Mont Doll Club and James–Lorah House.
As the devoted wife of the late Robert V. Molesworth, Barbara enjoyed touring around the countryside in their Model A Ford and walking through flea markets in her successful quest to build a significant doll and antiques collection. Barbara and Bob were also avid roller coaster enthusiasts with a love for the old wooden coasters.
Barbara had the unique ability to touch the lives of everyone she met, resulting in lifelong friends from many facets of life. She was the beloved daughter of the late William and Jennie (Kepler) Lane, sister to Deanna Suder (Joseph) and Roberta Cash (Oscar), sisters-in-law Judy Moleswort Darnell (Larry), Nancy Molesworth (Chuck (d.)) father-in-law Charles Molesworth (d) (Katherine Duer) and mother-in-law Elizabeth Molesworth (d). Barbara is also survived by 11 nephews and one niece along with numerous grand-nieces and nephews who lovingly knew her as “Aunt Barbie.”
Funeral service and interment is private. Memorial services will be held April 2, 2022 from 1 to 3 p.m. at The Waterwheel Tavern, Old Easton Road Doylestown.
