Barbara A. Schoellkopf passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021 in Elms Terrace, Lansdale, PA. She was 80.
Born and raised in Doylestown, she is survived by her son Chris Rudolph and his wife Faith, daughter Becky Rudolph, granddaughters Cassie and Grace Rudolph, and her brother John Atkinson.
She was an RN and graduated from Einstein Medical Center. She worked at many places, including the Bucks County Prison. Even after retirement, she kept up on medical news and could always be asked for advice. She shared her love of food and classical music with her children and grandchildren with numerous trips to the Kimmel Center and lunch in Philly. Christmastime was made extra special with a visit to Christmas Village and then in later years to Chriskindlmart in Bethlehem. Her love of colorful clothes and eclectic shoes were known to all who saw her walking around town. An avid reader, she was a frequent visitor to Kenny’s and The Doylestown Bookshop. She ordered books at the holidays for Kenny’s and volunteered at book signings for The Doylestown Bookshop. The last few years she was able to reconnect with some childhood friends and always enjoyed their Sunday breakfast at Aunt Judy’s. She will be missed by all who knew her and until the end kept us all on our toes.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 North Main Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 am followed directly by interment in Doylestown Cemetery, 215 E. Court Street, Doylestown, PA 18901.
A luncheon will be held at Penn Taproom, 80 W. State Street, Doylestown, PA 18901 immediately following her memorial service.
