Posted

The Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County plans to host free workshops online.

Professional freelance art director, designer and fine artist Jane Ramsey’s Art of Marketing workshops, originally scheduled for March, will be available via Zoom in May.

There is no fee for these workshops; however, preregistration is required. Those who register will be sent an invitation via email to join in on the Zoom event.

The educational seminar includes two 90-minute sessions, each offered twice to accommodate community members with varied schedules. If you are only available to attend only one of the sessions, the information will still be valuable.

Part I, “Create Your Artist’s Toolbox,” presents the different marketing tools artists need to tell their unique story.

Components of Part I include discussion of the artist’s statement, resume and CV, and when to use each. How tactical tools such as business cards, postcards, brochures and other communication pieces can share the right message is a highlighted aspect of this session. The importance of a website and how to make it meaningful and engaging for visitors to the site will be discussed.

Choose from the following times: 3-4:30 p.m. May 21, or 7-8:30 p.m. May 21, and register via EventBrite.

Part II, “Let’s Build It!” looks at the details of how to build the marketing plan. The focus of Part II is building a personal and unique plan. Strategies for how to connect and engage with the audience and tactics for supporting and promoting art shows and exhibits will be presented.

Also presented and discussed will be how to incorporate social media strategies. Pulling it all together is discussion on creating a distinctive and memorable experience for purchasers. How do all of the components of the marketing plan engage to create a first-rate and satisfying buying experience for art lover and artist?

Choose from the following times: 3-4:30 p.m. May 28 or 7-8:30 p.m. May 28, and register via EventBrite.
