Posted

The Arts & Cultural Council of Bucks County opens its doors in Doylestown for another art exhibition and sale.

Stop in on weekends, Sept. 10 through Oct. 2, to see a member’s exhibition featuring the work of over 125 regional artists, including 250 paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, mixed media works, sculptures, handmade books, ceramics, jewelry, and more.

The Fall Salon Show is an opportunity to support local artists by making a purchase. Framed and matted works will be available for sale.

In addition, from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, the Arts & Cultural Council is planning an event centered on books in order to highlight both its literary and artist members. The event includes local authors signing and selling their books, as well as book illustrators showcasing their work. Book genres include fiction, nonfiction, travel-memoir, children’s books, and poetry.

Freeman Hall is located at 181 E. Court St. in Doylestown. Free parking is available, and the exhibition and programs are free and open to the public.

The Arts & Cultural Council is a Community Sponsor for the Doylestown Arts Festival on Sept. 10 and 11. Park for free at Freeman Hall, stop in and see the show, then walk a few blocks to the festival.

At the festival, stop in to Booth #15 on West State Street to see the following artists: Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Deborah Eater, painterly collage demonstration, and 2 to 5 p.m. Pat Proniewsi, fine art; Sunday: from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lisa Domenic, fine art and 2 to 5 p.m. Lisa Domenic, fine art.
