“It’s My Party” by Jill LeClair, was the first-place winner, with a $1,000 cash prize. The mixed media with paper collage, acrylic and pen takes from “the Masters” and puts it into a new and whimsical setting or context.
“Communication,” digital photography by Sharlene Holliday, was the third-place winner, with a $250 cash prize
“Woodland Dance,” a 12-color reduction linocut original print, by Marcos Gago, earned second place and a $500 cash prize.
“White Birch Tree Lamp” by Karen O’Lone-Hahn, made of hand-crafted porcelain, received an honorable mention and a $150 Gift Certificate from Jerry’s Artarama of Lawrenceville.
“The View from My Deck”, an acrylic painting by Nancy Brockman, received an honorable mention and a $150 gift certificate from Jerry’s Artarama of Lawrenceville, N.J
Winners have been selected in AOY Art Center’s 10th Juried Art Show, which continues from noon to 5 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through May 15, at 949 Mirror Lake Road, Yardley (Upper Makefield). The community is invited to see the artwork created by 100 local artists from Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
