Artist friends join for exhibition at Stover Mill Gallery

Artist friends Aida Birritteri and Pat Proniewski exhibit together in “Regarding Nature” at Stover Mill Gallery, beginning June 1.

“Regarding Nature” is a collection of paintings inspired by nature.

The exhibit at the gallery at 852 River Road (Route 32), Erwinna includes 50 framed paintings, plus original portfolio pieces and archival safe prints, created by Birritteri and Proniewski.

Birritteri’s work features rural and urban landscapes in watercolor and oil. She works en plein aire and as a studio watercolor and oil painter. Birritteri has been entering her watercolors into local and regional juried shows throughout the Delaware Valley for a number of years.

Proniewski’s work features landscapes and florals in oil and casein in the style of contemporary realism. A retired art teacher, she is currently pursuing realist renderings of pastoral landscapes and florals; however, she still works in clay.

The exhibition runs four weekends in June, from 1 to 5 p.m., June 1 and 2, 8 and 9, 15 and 16, and 22 and 23. A reception is set for 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 1.

Admission is free and the venue is handicapped accessible. Call 610-294-9420 for information.
