Artis Senior Living residents raise funds for Ukraine

Posted

The residents of Artis Senior Living in Yardley are doing their part to raise money for the people of the Ukraine.

They’ve been hard at work making bracelets honoring the blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag.

Family members and professional partners have been supporting their efforts by purchasing the bracelets. Cheryl Harris, senior director of marketing, suggested the campaign as part of the Artis commitment to providing residents with opportunities to make a difference.

“It seemed like a wonderful opportunity for our residents to feel they could contribute and make an impact “ said Harris. The bracelets were made under the supervision of the Artis Director of Life Enrichment, Michelle Bowski, who said earlier this month, “So far over $300 has been raised, which the residents feel so good about.

All proceeds will benefit the Humanitarian Aid Campaign of The Ukrainian National Women’s League of America.”
