Ann’s Choice welcomes pastoral associate

Posted

Ann’s Choice, an Erickson Senior Living-developed and managed community in Bucks County, has hired the Rev. Kang Na as its new pastoral associate.
Before coming to Ann’s Choice, he was a professor for 21 years at Westminster College where he taught courses on the Bible, biblical interpretation, theology, religion, and philosophy. Born in South Korea, he moved to Tennessee just before turning 10, and since then has lived, studied, taught, and worked in various places in New Jersey, Korea, Atlanta, Germany, and New York City. He is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church and earned an AB at Princeton University, an MDiv at Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. at Emory University.
At Ann’s Choice, Na will serve as co-pastor with pastoral ministries manager, Jim Sutton, in presiding over Protestant worship services at the community’s chapel and provide visitation and counseling support to residents and family members.

“Every human being is a walking narrative, and I get to know the stories of so many residents as I share mine, as we together enrich one another’s sojourn through this hard, wonderful, and wonder-filled adventure we call life,” Na said.
He speaks several languages, including Korean and German, and has traveled to over 20 countries, including Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Poland, among others.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy, and their three children. His many hobbies include music, cooking, exercising, computers, and riding his Harley.
