Anne Terrell Pyne

Anne Terrell Pyne, 59, of Bridgeton Township, PA, passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA.

Anne was born on November 22, 1962 in Doylestown, PA. She graduated from Palisades High School in 1981. For the last 23 years she was employed by Jason House Corp in various positions, hosting being her favorite at their restaurant Tara. She came to know many of the frequenters of Tara and they her. They absolutely prized her wit and disposition. The proprietors always remarked how proud they were to have someone like her. Prior to that, she worked with her father at J.P. Saddlery, making equipment for equestrians, as well as other animals. She rode and loved horses. Anne loved to dance and practiced ballet in her younger years. She was an avid animal lover, a knowledgeable gardener, enjoyed reading, and loved musicals. Anne had an appreciation for good food and exceptional restaurants and enjoyed checking out new places. She was an active member of the Milford VFW Auxiliary for many years, where she served as Chaplin and patriotic instructor.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Lois (Douglas) Pratt, Anne is survived by her beloved husband of 16 years, Burton R. Pyne, her brother Douglas Pratt of Ocala, FL, stepdaughter Rhonda, her oldest and closest friend Betsy Day, several cousins and many loving friends. She will be dearly missed by all.

A Celebration of Anne’s Life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Johnson-Walton Funeral Home, 24 Church Road, Milford, NJ 08848.
