Animals are telling us things about climate

Our pet bunny died this week of heat exhaustion. We have now moved the remaining bunny and our five chickens to an outdoor pen, fenced in on all sides and located under the shade of a large tree.

Like the proverbial canary in the coal mines, I think the creatures are trying to tell us something. We are all in danger. We need to start thinking of what we can do to save the climate and give our grandkids a chance. Some actions that come to mind are: hang the clothes outside, drive less, use less electricity and fossil fuels, petition our legislators for climate relief.
