American Heritage Credit Union launches face-to-face video banking

Posted

American Heritage Credit Union (“American Heritage”) has launched VANA (Video Advisor Network Associates), its revolutionary Video Advisor service that provides members with a virtual face-to-face experience with live associates.

The new service allows American Heritage members to enjoy virtual in-person banking experiences via smartphones, tablets, computers, and other personal devices. American Heritage is the first multi-billion-dollar financial institution in Pennsylvania to offer video banking for its web and mobile channels.

VANA supports American Heritage’s Video Advisor mobile app and web service, and is supported by a platform which merges mobile video chat with real-time digital collaboration to create true virtual branch experiences capable of facilitating complex banking tasks, including loan applications, secure document exchange, photo ID verification, consultations, account management, membership opening and more, all while face-to-face with live American Heritage representatives as if in the same location.

American Heritage members have begun using VANA for a variety of consultative life stage needs, including home buying or financing, auto financing, retirement planning and more.

“We wanted to provide our members with a service that brings our personal in-branch experience into their homes in a convenient and secure way,” stated Bruce K. Foulke, American Heritage’s president and CEO. “The convenience of VANA provides our members with ease of mind surrounding their finances as well as time back in their day, which is something our members value now more than ever.

“As we were one of the first credit unions to embrace Interactive Teller Machine technology (PAT), we are now one of the first institutions in the region to offer live video consultation to our membership.”

Members can download the American Heritage Video Advisor app from the Apple Store or Google Play store, or launch the Video Advisor service directly from their Mobile Teller app.
