Bradley Cooper buys home near New Hope

Posted

Famed actor and director Bradley Cooper has bought a home near New Hope, close to his girlfriend’s mother’s horse farm, according to Page Six, a celebrity news magazine.

Cooper, 48, and American supermodel and TV personality Gigi Hadid, 28, have been dating for a few months and recently spent a weekend at the River House at Odette’s in New Hope, the magazine reported. Hadid’s mother, Yolanda, owns a $4 million property in the area.

A native of Abington, Cooper has many ties to the area, including his love for the Eagles and his graduation from Germantown Academy in 1993. Page Six said he attended his high school reunion this year. The nine-time Oscar nominee also attended Villanova University for a year before transferring to Georgetown University.

One of Cooper’s hit films, “Silver Lining Playbook,” was filmed in Delaware County and centered around a Philly-area family with a passion for the Eagles. Recently, he teamed up with South Philly’s Danny DiGiampietro of Angelo’s Pizzeria fame to serve cheese steaks at a pop-up food truck in New York City.

Cooper’s latest film, “Maestro,” was recently released.
