ACME Screening Room hosts a Quarantine Cat Video Contest

Posted
ACME Screening Room invites everyone to submit their best cat videos, to win cash prizes, and support their local cinema.

“Now that we are all quarantined at home with our cats, let's use this time to raise money for your favorite independent cinema,” reads an email from ACME. Videos selected will be joined with others from across the country, becoming the Quarantine Cat Film Festival in June 2020. The ACME, through its online virtual theater, will sell tickets to the film, and receive 50% of the net proceeds. With your help, ACME is hoping cats will help to save independent movie theaters through this unprecedented quarantine.

To submit, have your cat do cute things, hold your phone sideways, shoot the video in HD and upload it. Up to three videos per household will be accepted. Videos must be submitted by May 8. For details, visit https://rowhouse.online/cats/.
