Posted

The Acme Screening Room held the first annual Lambertville Halloween Film Festival Oct. 20-23.

The festival opened with a Masquerade Party Thursday evening Oct. 20 at The Spokeworks Building in Lambertville, N.J. A generous thank you goes to owner Steve Frank and the tenants of the building for donating the space. Greater Lambertville Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event.

Film screenings took place Friday through Saturday evening followed by an Awards Ceremony. Saturday also featured a Monster Makeup Demo by The Makeup Academy of Doylestown and Ghost Tour hosted by the Lambertville Historical Society.

Sunday included a children’s craft activity and a screening of the documentary, “Halloweenville,” the story of the history of Halloween decorating in Lambertville.

Next years’ event is scheduled for Oct. 27-29. To submit films, become a sponsor or volunteer, reach out at AcmeScreeningRoom@gmail.com.
