A Woman’s Place appoints board members

A Woman’s Place (AWP), Bucks County’s only domestic violence organization, welcomes three new members to its board of directors.

Starting their terms this month are entrepreneur Beth Allen, qualitative researcher Abby Leafe and attorney Amir Stark. These three will join seasoned board members Nikola Juhasz, president; Linda Sullivan, vice president; Marjie Devlin, secretary; Joyce Cooney, treasurer; Dana Carter, Madeline Goodman, and Vibha Agrawal in leading organizational growth and strategic direction.

AWP provides a full range of programs and services to individuals experiencing domestic violence, their children, and the community, which include emergency housing, counseling, support groups, legal advocacy, medical advocacy, civil and legal representation, prevention education, and financial empowerment programs and community thrift store In Full Swing.
