Salute to Bob Gerenser

Revolutionary War re-enactors provided a fitting salute Saturday, June 4, for Bob Gerenser, a lifelong New Hope resident who was known for his portrayal of General George Washington. About 100 people witnessed the 21-gun salute followed by some of Gerenser's cremated remains being blasted out over the Delaware River from a period cannon.
