Trevose Horticultural Society to help gardeners deal with deer

Posted

"Gardening with Deer" is the Trevose Horticultural Society's featured program Tuesday at the Bensalem Senior Center.

Starting at 7 p.m. at the center at 1850 Byberry Road, the talk will aim to help frustrated gardeners understand deer biology and habits and make informed decisions about gardening in light of their prevalence in the area.

Kathy Salisbury, director of the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University, is pursuing her doctorate in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning and looking to engage in adult environmental education opportunities post natural disaster.

The meeting is open to the public. Non-members are asked to donate $5. For information, call 856-866-9163 or visit www.trevosegardeners.org.
