Community Partnership to screen teenage suicide documentary

Posted

As part of the Pennridge Community Partnership along with Grand View Hospital, St. Luke’s Penn Foundation, Bucks County NAMI, the Bucks County Suicide Task Force and the Pennridge Regional Department, Pennridge School District invites teens and families to a screening of “My Ascension” 6:30 p.m. Oct. 27.

“My Ascension” is a 90-minute documentary film about teenage suicide and the ideology surrounding attempts. Following the film, there will be a Q&A with local professionals and community members with lived experiences.

Because of the nature of the documentary, it is not appropriate for children under 13; there will be child care for children between the ages of 5-12.

The event is free and open to the public. Preregistration (unless you require child care or want to write questions in advance) is not necessary. The preregistration form is available at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe4LECtSSsG07Fy-oaUWae8cOB60Iog4rxkh3LCrukWTL7-Cg/viewform.
