The New Hope-Solebury baseball team opened the season with a 14-1 mercy-rule win over Calvary Christian Academy on a cold and blustery day Monday.
Pitcher Tyler Corino picked up the win for the home team. Lions teammate Blake McCagg had three RBIs and Brooks Saft contributed two RBIs for New Hope, which welcomes Cheltenham on Thursday.
