More than 100 Lower Makefield residents got up close and personal with a red-tailed hawk, a barn owl and two Harris’s hawks at an April event at Memorial Park to celebrate Earth Day.
Organized by LMT Bird Town and the Lower Makefield Environmental Advisory Council, the April 20 Falconry Exhibition featured Master Falconer Gregory Wojtera, who trains and flies hawks, falcons and owls.
