Elizabeth J. Beck of Milford, NJ, died on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Cornell Hall Rehabilitation Center in Union, NJ. She was 88 years old.
Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, Elizabeth had been a Milford resident for many years. Earlier she lived in Durham, PA, Riegelsville and Holland Township, NJ. She was a semi-conductor production specialist and press operator for Plessey of Frenchtown Ceramics for 40 years. An active member of Milford Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth sang in the church choir and served as a deacon. She enjoyed shopping and was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.
Elizabeth was the wife of the late Claude D. Beck, Jr., the daughter of the late Lewis and Edna Bell Cooper Hovey and the sister of the late Donald, Kenneth and Gerald Hovey, Thelma Connley and Lois Hovey. She is survived by her sons Claude D. Beck III and his wife Deborah of Nazareth, PA and Lee A. Beck and his partner Gary Franke of Solebury, PA; her granddaughter Megan Beck of Nazareth, PA and her nieces and nephews and their families.
Funeral services will be private.
