Quakertown boys’ volleyball won at CB East, 3-1 (25-22, 25-20, 24-26, 25-22), on Monday. The Panthers are 5-2 in the SOL Continental and 7-2 overall. Quakertown boys’ volleyball defeated Upper Dublin, 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-19), on Friday to improve to 4-2 in the SOL Continental and 6-2 overall. Dylan Flor led the way for the Panthers with 13 kills, an ace and seven digs. Also standing out were: Mike Dierolf, nine kills, five digs; Coulton Terry, five kills, one ace, two blocks; Lucas Schan, four kills, one block; Nick Wesley, seven digs; and Xavier Villanueva, 25 assists, six kills, three aces.
Pennridge boys’ volleyball won at North Penn, 3-0 (25-14, 25-22, 25-22), on Friday evening. The Rams are 6-0 and will host Souderton on Monday. Against the Knights, Bradley Nase had 30 assists and seven digs. Also contributing were: Max McVaugh, 15 digs; Devon Rice, 14 kills, eight digs, four aces; Aaron Nelson, seven kills; Henry Savage, five kills, three blocks; Sam Handy, four kills; Ben Chinnici, four kills; and Brian Rosenberg, three kills.
Pennridge boys’ volleyball won at Central Bucks West, 3-1 (25-18, 25-13, 23-25, 25-13), on Wednesday. The Rams improved to 5-0. For Pennridge, Brad Nase had 36 assists, five blocks; Devon Rice, 15 kills, nine digs; Ben Chinnici, 14 kills, 11 digs; Henry Savage, six kills, six blocks, six digs; Aaron Nelson, six kills; Max McVaugh, eight digs; and Jesse Smith, 12 digs.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball erased Souderton, 3-1 (25-18, 18-25, 25-23, 25-16), on Wednesday behind, among others: Dylan Flor (17 kills, two blocks, nine digs), Mike Dierolf (16 kills, 11 digs), Lucas Schan (11 kills, three blocks, two digs), Coulton Terry (nine kills, two blocks), Nick Wesley (11 digs) and Xavier Villanueva (45 assists, six digs, three aces).
Quakertown boys’ volleyball went out of the Suburban One League to eclipse Whitehall, 3-0 (31-29, 25-21, 25-18), on Monday. The Panthers are 4-2 overall. Xavier Villanueva contributed 32 assists, three kills, three aces and nine digs to the winning effort. Assisting were: Dylan Flor, 16 kills, one ace, four blocks; Lucas Schan, nine kills, one ace, two blocks; Coulton Terry, five kills, two blocks; and Mike Dierolf, three kills.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball swept North Penn, 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-21), on Wednesday. The Panthers are 2-2 in the SOL Continental and 3-2 overall. Xavier Villanueva had 27 assists for Quakertown. His favorite targets were: Dylan Flor (12 kills, one block, seven digs), Lucas Schan (seven kills, three blocks), Coulton Terry, (seven kills, two blocks), Mike Dierolf (six kills, five digs) and Zach Dierolf (one kill, one block, two digs). Defensively, Nick Wesley had 11 digs and Chris Chookagian added three digs and an ace.

Pennridge boys’ volleyball placed second at Saturday’s Bobcat Invitational at Northeastern. The Rams fell to the host Bobcats, 21-17, 20-22, 15-10, in the championship game. Northeastern is the top-ranked team in Class AA in the state. On their way to the final, the Rams knocked off Seneca Valley (Class AAA seventh-ranked team), 11-15, 17-15, 15-13, and Parkland (Class AAA No. 4), 21-18, 24-26, 15-13, in the semifinals. “Pennridge played well all day while getting contributions from many players,” head coach Dave Childs said. “We ended up losing a close match with host Northeastern in the final after defeating three very good teams in the playoffs. We finished the tournament 13-4 overall.”
Quakertown boys’ volleyball beat William Tennent, 3-1 (25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 28-26), on Friday to improve to 2-1 overall. Mike Dierolf had 13 kills and six digs for the victorious Panthers. Dylan Flor had a double-double: 11 kills and 10 digs. Also, Lucas Schan had seven kills; Coulton Terry, six kills, one ace, five blocks, three digs; Xavier Villanueva, 30 assists, two blocks, three aces, seven digs; Jeff Prusch, nine digs; and Nick Wesley, 11 digs.
