Amanda Pursel had five kills and nine digs, and Lindsay Beck had eight digs. Jen Sterner contributed three kills, four digs and five assists, while Kerry Vanyo had 10 assists.
Central Bucks South girls’ volleyball defeated Quakertown, 3-0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-20), on Monday. Lindsay Beck picked up 19 digs for the Panthers. Quakertown girls’ volleyball hosted its sixth annual Dig Pink match and celebrated Senior Night with a win over North Penn, 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-12), on Monday. Katelyn Spieker came up with five kills, two blocks and two aces, while Jen Sterner had seven kills, nine assists and four aces, and Lindsay Beck had 13 digs and an ace.
Central Bucks West girls’ volleyball beat Quakertown, 3-1 (25-19, 25-20, 18-25, 25-17), on Tuesday. Amanda Pursel (15 kills, 12 digs) and Haley Sheehan (10 kills, two aces) led the offensive assault for the Panthers. Kerry Vanyo (19 assists, two aces, five digs), Jen Sterner (10 assists, five kills, seven digs) and Lindsay Beck (22 digs, two aces) keyed the passing game and defense.
Quakertown girls’ volleyball went down to Methacton, 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-19), on Monday. Jen Sterner notched nine assists, two kills and four aces for the Panthers. Haley Sheehan (six kills), Katelyn Spieker (four kills) and Lindsay Beck (10 digs, one ace) also contributed for Quakertown.
Haley Sheehan notched 11 kills, one block and three aces as Quakertown girls’ volleyball trumped Truman, 3-0 (25-19, 25-15, 25-21), on Friday. Katelyn Spieker chipped in seven kills, three blocks and three aces, while Shiann Alpha had six kills and a block and Ashley Morris had 11 digs.
