Quakertown boys’ volleyball lost a tight one Wednesday to Souderton, 3-0 (25-21, 26-24, 26-24). The Panthers are 3-6 on the season. Lucas Schan paced Quakertown with six kills and one block. Coulton Terry contributed four kills and five blocks, while Mike Dierolf amassed three kills and three blocks. Xavier Villanueva had 15 assists.
Pennridge boys’ volleyball was defeated at Central Bucks West, 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-23), on Monday evening. Alex Vellner had 12 kills to lead the Rams. Kolby Smith managed seven kills and eight digs, and Henry Savage notched six kills and two blocks. Devon Rice amassed eight digs, while Steve Braun had nine for Pennridge. Brad Nase dished out 28 assists.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball lost to North Penn, 3-0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-17), on Friday. The Panthers fell to 3-5. Josh Morgan led Quakertown with 10 kills and six digs. Dylan Flor added seven kills and three digs, while Mike Dierolf had nine digs.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball defeated Cheltenham, 3-2 (25-12, 16-25, 27-25, 25-27, 15-12), on Wednesday. The Panthers are 3-4 on the season. Xavier Villanueva finished with 41 assists for Quakertown. Josh Morgan and Dylan Flor led the way with 18 and 13 kills, respectively. Coulton Terry (seven kills, six blocks), Lucas Schan (five kills, three blocks) and Mike Dierolf (four kills) added to the cause, while Nick Wesley came up with eight digs.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball lost to Pennridge, 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-10), on Monday. The Panthers are 2-4 on the season. Nick Wesley amassed eight digs for Quakertown. Xavier Villanueva handed out 20 assists. Also contributing were: Josh Morgan, eight kills, five digs; Dylan Flor, six kills; Lucas Schan, three kills; and Mike Dierolf, three kills, four digs.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball won its second straight match, downing Upper Dublin, 3-2 (28-26, 22-25, 23-25, 27-25, 15-8), on Friday evening to improve to 2-3 overall. Dylan Flor blasted 28 kills to pace the Panthers. He was helped by: Mike Dierolf, 15 kills, 10 digs; Lucas Schan, eight kills; and Coulton Terry, five kills. Xavier Villanueva handed out 46 assists. Quakertown is back in action Monday at home against Pennridge.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball won at CB East, 3-1 (25-21, 25-20, 26-28, 25-19), on Wednesday night. It was the Panthers’ first victory of the season. Josh Morgan paced Quakertown with 21 kills, nine digs and two aces. Also standing out were: Dylan Flor, 10 kills, three aces and three blocks; Mike Dierolf, five kills and four digs; Lucas Schan, four kills; Coulton Terry, six blocks; and Xavier Villanueva, 39 assists.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball lost to CB South, 3-1 (22-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-20), on Monday night. The Panthers fell to 0-3. Xavier Villanueva dished out 34 assists in the setback. Nick Wesley came up with 11 digs. The offensive attack was led by Josh Morgan, who had 14 kills, three blocks and seven assists. Joining him in the kill parade were: Dylan Flor (11), Mike Dierolf (nine) and Lucas Schan (eight).
Central Bucks West boys’ volleyball won at Quakertown, 3-0 (25-6, 25-14, 25-15), on Friday night. The setback drops the Panthers to 0-2 on the season. Quakertown is back in action Monday when it hosts Central Bucks South.
