Central Bucks West boys’ volleyball took care of Quakertown, 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 26-24), on Wednesday. For the Panthers, Coulton Terry had 13 kills, Dylan Flor 12, Lucas Schan four and Mike Dierolf three. Xavier Villanueva handed out 28 assists, and Nick Wesley and Jeff Prusch had nine and seven digs, respectively.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball defeated CB South, 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-17), in the SOL Continental opener for both squads on Monday night. Panthers setter Xavier Villanueva had 27 assists and three aces. Six Panthers had at least two kills. They were: Coulton Terry (eight kills, five blocks), Dylan Flor (seven kills, one block, two aces), Mike Dierolf (six kills, one block), Lucas Schan (five kills, two blocks), Zach Dierolf (three kills, one ace) and Chris Cowan (two kills). Defensively, Nick Wesley had seven digs.
Quakertown boys’ volleyball is off to a great start. The Panthers won the Red Rover Invitational Tournament on Saturday in Easton. The fourth seed heading into the playoffs, Quakertown won its quarterfinal match, 2-0, over William Allen; its semifinal match, 2-0, over Council Rock South; and downed Liberty, 2-1 (22-25, 25-22, 17-15), in the final. Pennridge girls’ volleyball swept Quakertown, 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-19), on Wednesday. Katelyn Spieker amassed five kills and three blocks for the Panthers. Amanda Pursel had five kills and nine digs, and Lindsay Beck had eight digs. Jen Sterner contributed three kills, four digs and five assists, while Kerry Vanyo had 10 assists.

Quakertown girls’ volleyball hosted its sixth annual Dig Pink match and celebrated Senior Night with a win over North Penn, 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-12), on Monday. Filling up the stat sheet for the Panthers were: Jen Sterner, 10 aces, 15 assists, four kills; Amanda Pursel, six kills, nine digs; Haley Sheehan, five kills, eight digs; Katelyn Spieker, five kills; Shiann Alpha, four kills, four blocks; Kerry Vanyo, six assists, one ace; and Erica Schmidlechner, seven digs, one ace.
