Princeton Day School nudges Spartans

Isaac Rosenthal scored in the 51st minute as Princeton Day School edged Solebury School boys’ soccer, 1-0, on Thursday. PDS outshot the Spartans, 24-2. Goalkeeper Dakota Morrow kept Solebury in the game with 14 saves. “Solebury implemented a disciplined defensive game plan that frustrated the hosts for most of the game,” head coach Eric Soroka said. “A total team effort was needed from Solebury to keep the talented PDS squad from getting its offense going. Jiri Valtr, Matt Keefe, Lucas Santiago and Carlos Lewis-Miller played exceptionally well for Solebury.”
