Patriots shut out Tennent in first

Amazingly, Central Bucks East boys’ basketball blanked William Tennent, 15-0, in the first quarter on its way to a 55-40 victory on Saturday. The Patriots drained five three-pointers in the first frame (Brendan McLaughlin had three). CB East shot eight for 14 from three-point land in the game. McLaughlin finished with a team-high 25 points, while Blake Peterson chipped in 10 blocks and 10 rebounds. Tommy Strasburger amassed eight boards. The Patriots shot 19 for 23 from the line.
