Central Bucks East boys’ lacrosse took down Central Bucks South, 10-5, on Monday evening at War Memorial Field in Doylestown. The Patriots move to 9-2 overall (6-0 in SOL Continental play) and CB South goes to 6-3 (4-2 in the Continental). The Patriots’ Matt Vetter scored both his goals in the first quarter. CB South answered with a goal to finish the first with CB East up, 2-1. The Patriots found the net five times in the second, and CB South added two to bring the score to 7-3 at the half. Both teams added one goal in the third as CB East maintained control of a four-goal lead. In the fourth, CB East added two more to CB South’s one. Matt Schmidt led the Patriots in scoring with four goals, while Matt Heim and Matt Vetter had two goals each and Matt Milici and Logan Nelsen had one goal apiece. Andrew Del Bracco won 11 of 16 faceoffs and had nine ground balls. Sean McGovern had 11 saves. Brendan McGrath scored two goals for the Titans.
