Central Bucks East boys’ lacrosse took care of business on Tuesday, beating North Penn, 8-4. The Knights struck first in the opening quarter; however, CB East scored three quick goals to take a 3-1 lead at the end of one. The Patriots shut out North Penn in the second and found the back of the net two more times, taking a 5-1 lead into halftime. CB East tallied three more goals in the third and North Penn added one, making it 8-3 at the end of three. North Penn added one more goal in the fourth. Leading CB East in scoring was Matt Schmidt with three goals. Matt Heim had two goals (as did Matt Milici) and six ground balls. Sean McGovern had eight saves for the Patriots.
