Panthers trip up Catasauqua

Quakertown girls’ hoops started its season with a 42-24 victory Saturday over Catasauqua. “It was a one-point game at the half and the girls came out with a lot of energy in the second causing a lot of turnovers and steals,” Panthers head coach Brittany Remmey said. “Meghan Klee had five steals, six rebounds and 10 points. Makenna Kressley and Megan Lynn caused a lot of turnovers [as a result of] on-the-ball defense. Ashlee Ruzicka was a great presence in the paint with 11 points and six rebounds. The team is making great efforts and improving.”
