Panthers hold down Titans

Quakertown football held Central Bucks South to 126 total yards in a 24-7 victory Friday night. The Panthers scored all three of their touchdowns on the ground. Alec Vera (from eight yards) and Rob Burns (36) crossed the goal line in the second quarter, while Matt Stoneback (two) did the honors in the fourth quarter. Brian Kish had the lone Titans touchdown late in the third quarter. He returned a kickoff 81 yards to the house. For the game, Burns led the way with 155 yards on 13 carries. Stoneback had 19 for 80 yards.
