Locavore is back — a tasting adventure
The annual Locavore Business Card Exchange, a business and community event, takes palce from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Superior Woodcraft showroom and workshop, 160 N. Hamilton St., Doylestown.
The Doylestown Business and Professional Alliance’s evening of networking, making new contacts, building relationships and generating leads is free and open to all who would like to grow their business.
“Visitors will be treated to a special selection of local food and beverages provided by the growers and producers in our area who carefully crafted it,” says Patrick Kennedy, owner of Superior Woodcraft, and originator of the Locavore event in downtown Doylestown.
“This is a great opportunity to learn a little about local food and the locavore movement. Once you've tasted, you'll quickly appreciate the amazing bounty in your own back yard,” Kennedy says.
Participating producers include Blue Moon Acres, Buckingham Valley Vineyards and Winery, Bucks County Preserves, Chive Cafe and Catering, Confection Perfection, Crossroads Bake Shop, Doylestown Brewing Company, Doylestown Fresh, Homestead Coffee Roasters, JustFood, Laurie's Chocolates, Rose Bank Winery, Shelby's Sweet Things, The Market at Del Val College, Triumph Brewing Company, Giggling Goat Dairy and Wycombe Vineyards.
Parkis available at the Doylestown Borough Garage, Broad and Doyle streets.
