Tourism grants awarded to Bucks nonprofits
Visit Bucks County, the official tourism promotion agency of Bucks County announces the fall Tourism Grant program recipients.
The Visit Bucks County Tourism Grant was instituted in 2008 to assist in the development and enhancement of nonprofit tourism product in Bucks County. The VBC Tourism Grant is supported from a portion earned from the Bucks County lodging tax.
This round, Visit Bucks County distributed $259,000, making it the largest distribution in the history of the grant program. Previously, the highest allocation was $198,000 in fall 2011.
Visit Bucks County has distributed nearly $1.9 million in tourism funds since 2008.
