Music Mountain stages Andrew Lloyd Webber musical

“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” runs through April 21, at Music Mountain Theatre in Lambertville, N.J.

MMT celebrates the musical’s 50th anniversary with a production featuring lots of MMT Company favorites and talented youth from Hunterdon and Bucks counties.

A timeless Old Testament tale, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” is set to a multitude of musical genres by Andrew Lloyd Webber, spanning from country-western and calypso to bubble-gum pop and rock and roll.

Reprising their starring roles as the Narrator and Joseph from the 2016 production at the Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre are Jill Palena and Patrick Mertz. The cast doubles in size; each adult actor has a child counterpart.

Performances run through April 21, at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $25 for adults and $23 for seniors and students at musicmountaintheatre.org or 609-397-3337.
