Kids invited to “go big” this summer at Bucks Children’s Museum

Posted
The Bucks County Children’s Museum has an oversized attraction for guests visiting the museum this summer.

The traveling Visit Bucks County logo has been installed just outside the museum’s front door and will remain there for the duration of the busy summer season.

To engage visitors and promote tourism to the region, the museum is running a #BucksKidsGoBig photo contest on Instagram, encouraging families to post photos of themselves in front of the logo for a chance to win free admission to the children’s museum.

With 30 percent of overall summer attendance at the Bucks County Children’s Museum coming from outside the region, the Visit Bucks County logo installation at the museum is a perfect fit.

“The Bucks County logo is rotating throughout the county and making its summer stop in New Hope,” said Jerry Lepping, Visit Bucks County president/COO.

“The 32-foot-long structure is a great seasonal addition to the Bucks County Children’s Museum. We can’t wait to see all the fun family photos with the outdoor art.”

The award-winning 10,000 square foot museum in New Hope’s Union Square provides an interactive, educational, and inclusive environment for children ages 1 to 7.

Fly over the countryside in a hot air balloon simulator, drive an ambulance in the Doylestown Health Hospital Exhibit, float a boat down the Delaware Canal in Waterways, climb to new heights on the Rock Wall Exhibit, or pretend to shop in the Weis Market General Store.

These are just a few of the unique exhibits that encourage learning through play.
